How it all started

My journey with stained glass started with a simple fascination: the way light can transform a piece of glass. Working in our Chicago apartment, grinding glass quickly became a noise issue. My household and building needed silence and I needed a studio. In 2022, we moved to Winona, Minnesota to pursue stained glass as a career and despite the name starting as a lovingly joke – it stuck.

In the studio, I thrive on experimentation. I love exploring bold palettes, unexpected textures, and playful designs. Sometimes the process is meticulously planned, and sometimes it’s wonderfully spontaneous — either way, every piece feels like its own adventure. Collaborations with friends and fellow creatives are especially meaningful to me; they bring in fresh perspectives, unexpected challenges, and often lead to some of my favorite finished works.

Outside of the technical craft, stained glass is my way of spreading light — literally and figuratively. I want my pieces to brighten spaces, spark smiles, and maybe even start a conversation. At the end of the day, it’s not just glass and solder; it’s a little piece of myself, shared with you. Thanks for being here.
